According to the university's public relations, a large gathering of 7,000 female students from universities across the country was held to celebrate the birth of Hazrat Fatemeh Masumah (peace be upon her) and International Girls' Day. This event was organized in collaboration with Qom University of Technology, Qom University of Medical Sciences, and the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader at universities in Qom province at the Shrine of the Lady of Virtue.
Female students from universities nationwide gathered in the Imam Khomeini (RA) courtyard of the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masumah (peace be upon her) to celebrate the beginning of the Decade of Virtue and the anniversary of the birth of the Noble Lady of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon her).
The ceremony began with the warm welcome of the servants of the Noble Lady of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon her), who greeted the female students with flower bouquets and blessings from the Holy Shrine of Hazrat Masumah (peace be upon her).
Hojjatoleslam Panahian emphasized that girls are better suited to convey the message of religion to society, stating: "Rights and laws are essential for social life, but a life based on love is preferable to a life solely based on law."
He viewed hijab as a symbol of love and an enemy of indecency, asserting: "A woman's existence is rooted in love, and she must engage in theorizing this love in both personal and social life. When love is theorized within the personal and social relationships of a community, the result is this beautiful religion, which is symbolized by a girl who has the greatest shrine among the descendants of the Imams."
Additionally, Seyyed Hamid Reza Barghai, a prominent poet of religious themes in the country, recited poems fitting for this grand occasion, while Seyyed Mahdi Mir Damad performed eulogies.
Hojjatoleslam Fatemi, in this gathering, stated that Hazrat Fatemeh Masumah (peace be upon her) played a significant role in reviving the pilgrimage tradition. He explained that pilgrimage can carry very important messages and profound effects on human life, but this is only the case if we do not pass by without paying attention.
