In order to enhance the coherence of the executive and policy-making processes in the scientific, research, and technological system, universities and higher education and research institutions that bear the significant responsibility of training specialized and efficient human resources needed by the country and promoting the academic and cultural level have been granted certain powers under the provisions of the clause below Article 10 of the Law of Objectives, Duties, and Organization of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and subsection (b) of Article 20 of the Fifth Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Among these powers is the preparation and regulation of the bylaws and structural regulations of universities.
Considering that the executive bylaws in any organization serve as a prelude to its systematization, the Board of Trustees of Qom University of Technology has also taken careful and forward-looking steps to prepare and approve the executive bylaws for the organization and structure of this university.
