Publication of an article by a faculty member of Qom University of Technology in the prestigious international scientific journal Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews

According to the public relations report of Qom University of Technology, the scientific-research article of Dr. Hamidreza Bahrami, a member of the faculty of Qom University of Technology, entitled "Ultra-low temperature frosting in cryogenic engineering: Mechanisms, methods, features, and control strategies" has been published in the prestigious international journal Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews with an impact factor (JCR Impact Factor) of 18.

This research, which was carried out in collaboration with Dr. Bahrami and an international team of researchers from scientific centers and prestigious universities of the world, investigates and presents the mechanisms, methods, characteristics and control strategies of the phenomenon of freezing in ultra-cold temperatures (below -100 degrees Celsius). This comprehensive review article shows that freezing in ultra-cold temperatures is fundamentally different from freezing in normal conditions and is associated with phenomena such as desublimation, high supersaturation and limited surface penetration. The porous and irregular structures of ice, including glycine-like, bushy, and thread-like morphologies, which rapidly increase thermal resistance and disrupt the performance of cryogenic equipment such as LNG vaporizers and technology precoolers, have been systematically investigated in this article.

Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews magazine is one of the most prestigious international publications in the field of renewable energy and sustainable development, and the publication of this article in it indicates the high scientific quality and innovation of the research. The 18 impact factor of this journal has placed it among the top scientific journals in the world in the field of energy engineering.

Public relations of Qom University of Technology, while congratulating Dr. Hamidreza Bahrami and all his international colleagues on this valuable success, wishes him and all researchers of the university more and more success in the scientific and research fields from the Almighty God.
