According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the University was recognized and honored as a selected university in the field of industry–university collaboration during the meeting of directors of liaison offices for society and industry of universities, research institutes, and higher education centers across the country.
The meeting of directors of university liaison offices for society and industry, covering universities, research institutes, and higher education centers across the country, was held with the participation of the Deputy Ministers of Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, as well as representatives of executive bodies. In this national event, the performance of universities in effective interaction with industry, responding to societal needs, and developing technological cooperation was evaluated, and ultimately, Qom University of Technology was recognized as one of the selected universities in this field.
At the meeting, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Abtahi, Deputy Minister of Research and Technology, emphasized the key role of universities in addressing national challenges, stating: “We hope that the link between universities and industry will be further strengthened through your efforts and commitment, and that by synergizing scientific and executive capacities, we will witness comprehensive national progress in all fields.”
This achievement has been attributed to the problem-oriented approach of Qom University of Technology, its constructive interaction with industrial and executive sectors, and its purposeful movement toward becoming an entrepreneurial and impactful university in national development.
