According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, the Student Day commemoration ceremony was held at the university with the participation of Dr. Faramarz Azimi, Mayor of the Metropolis of Qom. The event, which was warmly received by a large number of students, featured remarks by university officials and guests emphasizing the pivotal role of the student movement in advancing scientific development and fostering hope within the country.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Ghanbari, President of Qom University of Technology, congratulated Student Day and welcomed the Mayor of Qom and his accompanying delegation. He elaborated on the role and mission of students in the current era.
Referring to the special conditions of the country, he emphasized the need for a forward-looking perspective and continuous progress, stating that during the recent conflict, scientific and research achievements were among the most important factors of success, which were attained through reliance on the country’s student and scientific movement.

The President of Qom University of Technology added that students should adopt a forward-looking approach and benefit from knowledge in a way that, alongside political activities, they also actively pursue research and academic engagement.
Dr. Ghanbari described the primary responsibility of students and the university as “instilling hope,” stating that hope-creation disarms the enemy. He further noted that the vigilant and critical perspective of students toward society can help address and compensate for any shortcomings.
In continuation, Hojjatoleslam wal-Muslimin Dr. Mohbi, Head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader at the university, commemorated Student Day and, drawing on the teachings of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Imam Hussein (AS), emphasized the two principles of “dignity” and “humiliation.” He stated: “We will not submit to domination.”

Dr. Mohbi, expressing his best wishes for Qom University of Technology, stated: “I hope this university, which serves as a backbone for Qom’s industry, will progress in a way that enables it to become a supporting pillar for both the province and the country, and contribute to addressing national challenges.”
Prior to the keynote speech by the special guest, representatives of active student associations at Qom University of Technology, as well as other universities in the province, presented their views, concerns, and questions regarding national, provincial, and university-related issues.




Dr. Faramarz Azimi, Mayor of the Metropolis of Qom, as the special guest of the ceremony, congratulated Student Day and appreciated the university officials for organizing the event. He described the position of students as “special” and addressed the students by saying: “You should use your position as guiding lights for society.”

The Mayor of Qom further responded to the questions and issues raised by students and student associations, engaging in a direct dialogue with them.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, active student participants were also honored and appreciated for their contributions.
