🔹According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, a specialized and important meeting on reviewing the cultural programs of universities across the province was hosted by Qom University of Technology with the participation of Mr. Heidari, Deputy for Political and Security Affairs of the Governorate of Qom; Hojjatoleslam Wal-Muslimin Taghavi, Head of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities of the Province; cultural deputies of provincial universities; and officials of the Representative Office of the Supreme Leader in Universities.
🔸At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Qanbari, President of Qom University of Technology, while extending condolences on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (peace be upon her), welcomed the attendees and referred to the unique status of the holy city of Qom. He highlighted the university’s proximity to the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (peace be upon her) and described this blessing as a factor that strengthens cultural identity within the academic environment.
🔹He added that the development of cultural activities in the province is an inevitable necessity, stressing that due to its unique background and exceptional potential, special attention to this important matter in Qom Province must be placed at the top of priorities for all relevant institutions.
🔸In another part of his remarks, the President of Qom University of Technology presented precise statistics and figures highlighting the university’s most notable achievements, which demonstrate its rapid progress across various fields:
1⃣ Second place in per capita cultural activities among universities nationwide. This achievement reflects the special attention and systematic planning of the university’s Cultural Affairs Vice-Presidency in expanding both the quality and quantity of impactful cultural programs.
2⃣ Ranking among the top 15 industrial universities in the country, which has solidified the academic and educational standing of Qom University of Technology among Iran’s reputable higher education institutions in engineering and industry.
3⃣ Top rankings in graduate employment rates at both bachelor’s and master’s levels in various years, largely due to the university’s proximity to the industrial zones of the province.
4⃣ Resolution of the long-standing university property issue, which after years of discussion and review has finally been settled. This issue was one of the university’s historical challenges, and its resolution has created a promising outlook for future development and infrastructure expansion.
5⃣ Outstanding performance in technological and sports Olympiads, achieving top ranks.
6⃣ First place in smart digital transformation of IT services among 111 universities nationwide.
🔹In continuation of the meeting, Mr. Heidari, Deputy for Political and Security Affairs of the Governorate of Qom, emphasized the necessity of further development of cultural activities in academic environments, stating that the Governorate of Qom will support high-quality, impactful, and distinguished programs at the universities of the province.
