Specialized webinars on experience transfer in the field of establishing science and technology parks between Qom University of Technology and the University of Mosul, Iraq.

🔹According to the Public Relations Office of Qom University of Technology, Dr. Atefeh Nezhad Ebrahim, Head of Research and Innovation Affairs at Qom University of Technology, announced the holding of two specialized webinars focused on sharing the university’s experience in establishing a Science and Technology Park. These sessions were organized within the framework of a scientific and international cooperation agreement between Qom University of Technology and the University of Mosul in Iraq.

She emphasized the importance of expanding scientific and technological cooperation between the two universities, stating that the purpose of these webinars was to transfer the knowledge and experience of Qom University of Technology in establishing and developing a Science and Technology Park, as well as to explore potential areas of joint collaboration in research and innovation.

Dr. Nejad Ebrahim explained further that the first webinar, held on October 29, 2025, focused on introducing the structure, mission, and short- and long-term vision of the university’s Science and Technology Park. The session also addressed research priorities, research infrastructure, financial resources, and international cooperation capacities, particularly with the University of Mosul.

She added that the second webinar, held on October 30, 2025, focused on the university’s research achievements and innovations. Key recent research projects, patents, collaborations in energy, health, environment, and information technology, as well as mechanisms for quality assurance and evaluation of scientific and economic impact were presented and discussed.

Dr. Nejad Ebrahim noted that these meetings created a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and strengthening scientific cooperation between the two universities, and could serve as a model for developing scientific and technological relations between Iran and Iraq.

It is worth mentioning that these webinars were held with the collaboration of Dr. Anousheh Latifi and Dr. Atefeh Nejad Ebrahim from Qom University of Technology, and Dr. Salah Al-Abadi, Dr. Ammar Dawood, Dr. Ammar Abdulhamid, and Dr. Basman Al-Hafez from the University of Mosul, Iraq.
