According to the public relations office of Qom University of Technology, Mr. Mohammad Javad Soleimani and Ms. Fatemeh Negar Irani, members of the ACSL laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Meysam Yadegari and in collaboration with Dr. Nader Moskeen from Qatar University, successfully published an article in one of the most prestigious journals published by Elsevier titled Applied Energy with an impact factor of 11.
🔶 This article provides a comprehensive review of various faults in gas turbines, including gas path faults, mechanical faults, combustion faults, sensor faults, actuator faults, and combined faults, analyzing their causes, effects, and modeling methods. It also examines advanced fault detection approaches, including model-based, data-driven, and hybrid methods, presenting a coherent classification of hybrid methods, and finally discusses challenges and future research directions in this field.
🔷 Dr. Yadegari elaborated on the features of this achievement, stating:
«This 44-page article is the result of nearly 2 years of effort by researchers at the ACSL laboratory and has become one of the most comprehensive review articles in the field of fault detection in gas turbines.»
