According to the public relations of Qom Industrial University, a creative product in the field of sports and health, designed and created in the Advanced Control Systems Laboratory (ACSL) of Qom Industrial University, was able to achieve the first place in the panel «Sports Equipment and Products» at the first Technology Olympiad for Student Sports while competing against the top university teams in the country.
🔹 This Olympiad was launched to support innovative ideas and products and to develop technologies related to sports, receiving over 360 initial proposals from universities across the country. After a specialized evaluation, only 57 of the best works advanced to the in-person stage. In the sports equipment and products section, 24 creative works were presented, and ultimately the ACSL team from Qom Industrial University succeeded in securing the first position.
🔸 Dr. Yadgar, explaining the features of this achievement, said: This fitness device, with a lighter weight compared to similar models, has the ability for continuous weight adjustment, a graphical user interface, the capacity to define training profiles tailored to the athlete's needs, an adjustable range of motion, automatic start, and performance reporting capabilities designed for athletes. This concept can be adapted to all fitness devices, and its prototype has been implemented on a bicep curl machine.
🔹 This success not only demonstrates the scientific capabilities of the students and faculty members of the university but also outlines a promising outlook for the commercialization of knowledge-based products and entry into the market of smart sports equipment.
