According to the Public Relations of Qom University of Technology, a ceremony to honor and appreciate the services of Dr. Rezaei Noor, the former president of the university, and to introduce Dr. Ghanbari as the new acting president, was held with the presence of Dr. Khaki Sediq, chairman of the Board of Trustees and Accreditation Boards Center of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, along with a number of national and provincial officials.
In this event, Dr. Khaki Sediq, while expressing gratitude for Dr. Rezaei Noor’s efforts during his tenure, wished success and prosperity for Dr. Ghanbari in his new role and stated: Qom University of Technology has experienced a growing path over recent years. Today, more than ever, quality in higher education is a key and strategic issue, and universities that focus on qualitative improvement in education, research, student services, and human resource management are on the path to excellence.
He emphasized the necessity of a fresh perspective in university management, adding: Under current conditions, attention to new technologies, especially artificial intelligence, in universities’ educational and research programs is inevitable. We must strive to institutionalize the use of these tools in teaching, projects, and university management.
Dr. Ghanbari, welcoming the guests, particularly Dr. Khaki Sediq, appreciated Dr. Rezaei Noor’s efforts during his tenure and said: I have witnessed his sincere endeavors and services on the path of growth and promotion of Qom University of Technology, and I wish him health and success.
He continued: Responsibility at a university is a critical duty in the realm of science and education. Relying on the university’s human capital, including professors, staff, and students, we will exert all our efforts to continue the path of development and vitality of this young and pioneering university.
The acting president of Qom University of Technology stated: Alongside training specialized students in technical and engineering fields, the university must consider and play a role in the educational dimensions of spiritual commitment and ethics by leveraging the profound cognitive capacities of the holy city of Qom. Our move must be toward cultivating committed, specialized, and God-fearing students.
Dr. Ghanbari identified the young human capital of Qom University of Technology as its most significant asset and added: The result of the valuable efforts of the university community is the steadily growing and notable position that Qom University of Technology has achieved in the country’s higher education system today. Utilizing the local capacities of Qom province and the specialized student workforce, we will take steps to stabilize and elevate this status.
Later in the ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the former president of Qom University of Technology, expressed appreciation and thanks for the affection shown by the attendees and reviewed important achievements during his tenure, extending gratitude to all faculty members, staff, and students who supported him during this period.
