According to the Public Relations of Qom University of Technology, a meeting was held between Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, Mr. Iraqi, the CEO of the Hope Entrepreneurship Fund of Qom Province, and Dr. Bahrami, the Director of the University-Industry Relations Office at Qom University of Technology. In this meeting, important topics regarding sustainable employment development and joint cooperation were discussed and emphasized.
Dr. Jalal Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, stated in this meeting regarding the position of Qom University of Technology in the technology ecosystem of Qom Province:
«Qom University of Technology has consistently ranked among the top in employment rates for graduates of bachelor’s and master’s programs in its mission areas in technology and entrepreneurship over the past years.
He emphasized the importance of university-industry interaction, stating: «Fourth-generation universities must play an entrepreneurial role in their mission areas and collaboration with knowledge-based companies is one of the effective steps in this regard.»
Dr. Rezaei Nour also announced the possibility of establishing joint collaborations with the Hope Entrepreneurship Fund under the name of investment funds.
Furthermore, Mr. Iraqi, the CEO of the Hope Entrepreneurship Fund of Qom Province, expressed his satisfaction with this collaboration, referencing the fund's role in employment development at the provincial level, and stated:
«This fund operates in small and medium employment sectors and has made significant efforts in ecosystem management as well.»
He added: «The Hope Entrepreneurship Fund is ready to provide special facilities under joint plans and projects with specific conditions.»
He emphasized: «To create sustainable employment, a smooth pathway should be provided so that interested individuals can easily enter the entrepreneurial job market and realize genuine and lasting employment.»
Dr. Bahrami, the Director of the University-Industry Relations Office at Qom University of Technology, also expressed during this meeting regarding the university's capacities:
«Qom University of Technology has created an innovation center and shared workspace, providing a suitable platform for companies to operate and create employment.»
He added: «Currently, this center is active with about 20 technology-focused cores, which is considered a significant step toward entrepreneurship and job creation.»
This meeting concluded with an emphasis on expanding interactions and joint collaborations between Qom University of Technology and the Hope Entrepreneurship Fund to achieve sustainable employment development goals, and it was agreed that the next meeting would finalize the cooperation memorandum between the university and the fund.
