In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O Turner of hearts and eyes, O Director of night and day, O Transformer of seasons and conditions, turn our state to the best state
I congratulate the beginning of the new century and the new year to the dear professors, staff, and students of Qom Industrial University. The year 2022, which, as stated by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last), has been named the year of production, knowledge-based initiatives, and job creation, has made the responsibility of the academic community heavier, as facilitating production, knowledge-based endeavors, and employment are all the duties of the country’s universities.
Thank God, we can take effective steps in these three areas. According to the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, in 2020, we achieved the first rank in employment for bachelor’s graduates and in 2021, we obtained the second and ninth ranks in employment for bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, thereby bringing job creation for young people.
Qom Industrial University has established an active innovation center that has provided a research and study environment for students, faculty, and interested individuals, and thus we hope to succeed in the field of knowledge-based initiatives as well.
It is noteworthy that by implementing creative and innovative projects, including the industry assistant program, which has been proposed and executed for the first time by Qom Industrial University, the connection between students and professors with the industries of the province has been very beneficial and effective. In this way, this university also helps industry owners in the area of production.
Undoubtedly, this path continues, and this year will be a very productive one for the academic community of Qom Industrial University.
God willing, with the presence of students at the university, the use of the laboratories and workshops which have improved both quantitatively and qualitatively, and the increase of young and elite faculty members, a very bright horizon has been outlined for this university.
I hope that in the year 2022, all of us, by adhering to the commandments of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last) and with enhanced efforts and diligence, can assist our esteemed government in achieving its goals and witness greater strength and honor for Islamic Iran.
