The news of the passing of the esteemed scholar of the Islamic world, His Eminence Ayatollah Al-Uzma Alavi Gargani, was very painful.

I extend my condolences on behalf of the academic community of Qom Industrial University to the noble nation of Iran, especially to the Supreme Leader (may his shadow endure), his esteemed household, and the esteemed community of clergy. I pray to Almighty God for the elevated status of the deceased and for patience and health for his family and other survivors.
