According to the Public Relations Office of the university, a cordial meeting was held between the Board of Trustees of Qom University of Technology and international students. During this meeting, students expressed their gratitude for the efforts and follow-ups of the relevant officials, and posed their questions regarding the expenses related to education and student dormitories, issues pertaining to education, research, and cultural programs. They also articulated their suggestions, criticisms, and demands. In this gathering, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, expressed his pleasure at this meeting and regarded international students as ambassadors of science, religion, and culture. He added that international students at Qom University of Technology should be more enthusiastic in terms of academic, research, and cultural activities. Regarding the expenses related to international students, Dr. Rezaei Nour stated: In Iran, night students must pay tuition fees. According to higher regulations, tariffs must be adhered to. Considering the applicable regulations, international students are required to pay varying expenses. However, due to negotiations with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, the costs have been shared, and international students only pay the actual costs of accommodation and meals. He further mentioned that the Karimeh Qard al-Hasan Fund is active in providing assistance to students at the university. The president of Qom University of Technology discussed the cultural programs for international students and stated: Thanks to the efforts of Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the university, negotiations have been conducted with the office of the Supreme Leader in universities to organize special programs for international students. Dr. Rezaei Nour added that the authorities at Qom University of Technology welcome the educational and research activities of international students, especially in publishing books. In relation to skill enhancement for international students, he remarked: The skill training courses, which are held in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Organization, will be very beneficial and effective for you, and participants will receive valid and translatable certificates. Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology, said: Your presence at Qom University of Technology is an opportunity to strengthen international programs and enhance cooperation between Iran and other countries. He added that geographical borders are imaginary, and our existential framework is human values. Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghorbani Mobin emphasized that all Muslims must be united and supportive of one another. This unity will lead to our victory in the world. An example of this unity and cooperation has been seen globally. The resistance of the people of Palestine in Gaza, with the support of Muslims and freedom advocates worldwide, has prevented Israel from conquering the Gaza Strip.
