According to the public relations of the university: The introduction of new incoming students and the recognition of the top professors of Qom Industrial University was held with the presence of the university's board of trustees in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall, organized by the Student and Cultural Affairs Department and the Educational and Research Department.
During this ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom Industrial University, expressed his delight at meeting the students and the return of in-person university classes, referencing the year's name designated by the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be everlasting) as the Year of Production, Knowledge-Based Economy, and Employment, and added: Qom Industrial University has responsibilities in the technical and engineering sector of the province and the country that, in line with the slogan of the year, we must exert greater efforts in this regard.
He noted the recent advancements of the university, saying: Thanks to God and the hard work of esteemed professors, honorable staff, and dear students, Qom Industrial University now ranks among the top 15 industrial universities in the country, and with the existing capacities at the university, we hope to witness further growth of this institution.
He added: Given the approach of Dr. Zolfi Gol, Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, towards research and the establishment of a new department named the Science and Technology Department, universities should pay special attention to research.
Following this, Dr. Ghanbari, the Vice President for Educational and Research Affairs, congratulated the new students and provided an explanation regarding the significant achievements and advancements of Qom Industrial University in recent years.
He emphasized: Achieving the second rank in employment for bachelor's degree graduates in 2020, achieving the ninth rank in employment for master's degree students in 2021, acceptance of students in PhD programs in Mechanical Engineering and master's programs in Nanotechnology, and hosting national and international scientific conferences are among the advancements of Qom Industrial University in recent years.
In conclusion, appreciation was expressed for the top educational and research professors.
From the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Narges Sadeghzadeh; from the Faculty of Technical and Engineering Sciences, Dr. Alireza Azizi; from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Mahdi Soleimani; and from independent groups, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Al Omrani Nejad were introduced as distinguished educational professors.
Recognition was also given to Dr. Mostafa Talebi, Dr. Jafar Ghanbari, Dr. Hadi Ziyani, Dr. Meysam Yadgari, Dr. Ali Kouhestani, and Dr. Hamid Reza Bahrami as the top research professors.
Additionally, Dr. Atefeh Nejad Ibrahim, Engineer Parisa Mahmoudi, Dr. Ruhollah Abadi, and Dr. Bahjat Pour Amiri were introduced as outstanding professors of education.
Furthermore, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Ali Al Omrani Nejad and Dr. Abdolreza Rasouli were acknowledged as active cultural professors with gratitude.
