According to the public relations department of the university: The Engineer's Day ceremony was held with the presence of the president of Qom University of Technology, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the university, and a group of students, organized by the Cultural Management and Islamic Community Association in the conference hall of this university.
In this ceremony, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, congratulated Engineer's Day and expressed condolences on the martyrdom of Imam Musa Kazem (peace be upon him) by saying: "I consider this moment valuable and specially thank the students, professors, and staff who, with their tireless efforts and dedication, have made significant progress for the university."
He added: "The ten-step growth of Qom University of Technology, the approval for admitting international students, and acquiring the second and ninth ranks for the employment of graduates at the bachelor's and master's levels are part of the recent successes of Qom University of Technology."
The president of Qom University of Technology further stated: "Every single official at the university will provide whatever you, dear students, need in the educational and research fields, to witness your progress. Hopefully, skilled and experienced engineers will graduate from Qom University of Technology and be absorbed into the job market."
Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimeen Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader in the university, congratulated the occasion of the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) appointment in advance and conveyed condolences for the martyrdom of Imam Kazem (peace be upon him).
He added: "Imam Kazem (peace be upon him) says: Consulting with a wise and well-wishing person paves the way for blessings, growth, and success from God. Therefore, committed and devout engineers can serve as well-wishing consultants and facilitate blessings, growth, and success for themselves and society."
The speech by the top entrepreneur of the country, Engineer Amouzadeh, as well as performances of magic and stand-up comedy were other parts of this ceremony.
At the end, a workshop on observing the night sky was held with Dr. Naiyeh in attendance.
