According to the Public Relations of the University: A memorial ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of the beloved commander was held in the hall of martyr Akhundy at Qom University of Technology, with the presence of Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Zolnouri, the representative of the noble and martyr-loving people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, along with the martyr Shahrooz Mozaffari's wife and child.
In this ceremony, Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Zolnouri expressed gratitude for the tireless efforts of Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, the staff and faculty of the university. He deemed the strengthening of Qom University of Technology as part of the national interests of the country and added: The education of students in engineering and technical fields in the city of the sanctuary of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) has both scientific and spiritual significance. With the approach of industrialization in the province, this university, by training committed and devout students, can significantly contribute to the growth and flourishing of the province's industry.
Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Zolnouri stated: Given the proximity of Qom to other industrial cities, this province must produce knowledge, and students from this university, who will be the professors of tomorrow, should travel to the surrounding industrial cities to teach and generate knowledge.
The representative of the people of Qom in the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: The professors in the city of Qom, who have studied alongside scholars in the vicinity of the sanctuary of the Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them), are a source of goodness and blessings.
Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin Zolnouri, regarding the decade of insight and the martyrdom of Haj Qasem Soleimani, stated: January 9, 1978, ignited the engine of the revolution, and this period of mourning for the martyrs of Qom in Tabriz, Urmia, Jahrom, and other cities accelerated the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
He honored the memory and legacy of martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani, saying: When Imam Khomeini (may his soul be exalted) said that Mehran must be liberated at any cost, everyone was concerned about how to liberate Mehran without military equipment and forces and establish security there. The only commander who expressed readiness was martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani, who said: I will liberate Mehran with two battalions and with reliance on Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her). Ultimately, with minimal resources and relying on Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her), he succeeded in liberating Mehran.
Furthermore, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, while commemorating the decade of insight, the martyrdom of the beloved commander, and the anniversary of the passing of the wise scholar Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, referred to the second step of the revolution's communiqué, stating: According to the second step of the revolution's communiqué, we have entered a phase of self-building, social integration, and civilization-building. In Qom University of Technology, these three principles have received significant attention.
He added: In the self-building phase, we seek guidance through mentioning the Ahlul Bayt and holding religious ceremonies of the pure and immaculate family.
Dr. Rezaei Noor stated: In the phase of social integration, Qom University of Technology achieved the first rank in the employment of bachelor's graduates in 2020, and in 2021, it achieved the second rank in the employment of bachelor's graduates.
He continued: Additionally, Qom University of Technology, with a ten-level improvement, is now among the top 15 universities in the country.
The President of Qom University of Technology added: Regarding civilization-building, Qom University of Technology has fulfilled its duties in this area by obtaining permission to recruit international students.
Lastly, the wife of martyr Shahrooz Mozaffarian described one of the remarkable traits of this everlasting martyr as the sincerity of action, adding: Although martyr Mozaffarian was very close to the commander in terms of work for years, he never stood alongside the commander in front of the camera and always worked with sincerity and devotion.
She continued: Martyr Mozaffarian always spoke of the wisdom and tirelessness of Commander Soleimani. During the floods in Khuzestan, the endurance of the commander was highlighted, as the commander himself attended to the situation of the flood-affected people. The people of Khuzestan also expressed their gratitude for the efforts of the beloved commander with a million-strong funeral procession.
