According to the public relations office of the university: Considering the emphasis by the Supreme Leader on the importance of the نور (Noor) pilgrimages and strengthening the discourse of sacrifice and martyrdom and spirituality among students and professors, as well as in line with the directives of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, a meeting was held at the provincial headquarters of Martyr علم الهدی (Alam Al-Huda), where the heads of universities and higher education institutions in Qom came together to discuss the programs commemorating the blessed decade of فجر (Fajr), the review of the نور (Noor) pilgrimage programs, and the establishment of a student نور (Noor) committee in universities.
In this meeting, Dr. رضائی نور (Razaei Noor), the President of Qom Industrial University, while commemorating the blessed decade of فجر (Fajr) and the passing of the esteemed Marja of the Islamic world, Ayatollah صافی گلپایگانی (Safi Golpaygani), expressed gratitude for the valuable and heartfelt efforts of Colonel رفعت نژاد (Raf'at Nejad), the head of the student Basij in Qom province, and all the esteemed members in the student Basij region.
He stated: Given the important role of science and research and the emphasis on a knowledge-based economy in the second step of the revolution, in addition to spiritual activities, an academic and educational burden should be added to these pilgrimages.
The President of Qom Industrial University added: In these meetings, in addition to coordinating on costs and the execution format of the programs, the realization of the directive from the Supreme Leader (may his shadow endure) regarding scientific jihad must also be considered.
