According to the public relations office of the university, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, issued a message congratulating the birthday of Khwaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi and Engineer's Day. The full text of the message is as follows:
The fifth of Esfand is the day for honoring Khwaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, who is a writer, astronomer, mathematician, and the father of engineering in Iran. This is a significant occasion to commemorate the position of our dear engineers in Iran.
It is a great honor that in our country we have scholars such as Khwaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Abu Rayhan Biruni, Avicenna, and others, whose names and legacies are still recognized worldwide. The scientific community in our country has the potential to emulate these great and ethical scholars, to bring about the growth and flourishing of Islamic Iran and to enhance the dignity and prosperity of our beloved country even further.
I, while commemorating the memory of 1,400 martyr engineers, extend my congratulations and best wishes to all specialized and committed engineers, especially the diligent engineers at Qom University of Technology, and I hope that through our efforts and dedication, we can witness the development of science and technology in Islamic Iran.
