According to the university's public relations, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, announced the opening of the Revitalization Research Center at the university during an interview with reporters. He stated: Emphasizing the words of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution regarding the importance of science and technology, as well as the second phase of the revolution's statement concerning the growth and scientific development of the Islamic system, it is essential to form specialized scientific hubs in response to the requests from active industries. Dr. Rezaei Nour continued: The connection between Qom University of Technology and the knowledgeable and technological entities in the province, such as the Science and Technology Park, the Elite Foundation, and seminaries, has allowed the university's growth and innovation centers to effectively utilize existing capacities. The president of Qom University of Technology added: This university continuously holds specialized meetings with various governmental, military, private entities, and different industries, bringing in active professors and researchers to address community issues. He continued: Currently, 14 technology companies are operating at Qom University of Technology. In our scientific discussions, we face no issues regarding development, buildings, and infrastructure, and the scientific entities are actively engaged in a peaceful environment. Additionally, Ali Aghbali, the president of the Revitalization Research Center, noted the goals of this center during the meeting, stating: Qom University of Technology places a special emphasis on the connection between students and industries in the province, and in this regard, research groups have been active for nearly a year, focusing on resolving the province's issues and challenges. He further mentioned: Migration to Qom, infrastructure problems, and unfinished urban projects are among the identified topics. He added: This center, in addition to examining various topics, will pay special attention to seminaries and the humanities and Islamic sciences. Mohammad Mahdi Karimpour, the deputy research and vice president of the Revitalization Research Center, also said in this meeting: Qom University of Technology has established the Revitalization Research and Study Center to complete the chain of science and technology. He added: Today, writing articles is necessary for scientific advancement, but it is not sufficient; therefore, applying research articles is one of the main objectives of this center. Karimpour continued: Scientific jihad and achieving the scientific authority of the country, addressing the issues and challenges of Qom province and even the country, enhancing the scientific status of Qom province and Islamic system in scientific rankings, and transforming the province into a scientific hub of the country are among the objectives of this center.
