According to the public relations office of the university: Following the passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Momen, a member of the Expert Assembly of Leadership and the Guardian Council, Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom University of Technology, expressed his condolences regarding this loss. Indeed, we belong to God and indeed to Him we will return
The passing of the distinguished scholar, esteemed jurist, member of the Expert Assembly of Leadership, the Guardian Council, and Board of Trustees of Qom University of Technology, Ayatollah Mohammad Momen, has caused sorrow and devastation.
May the Almighty God unite this divine scholar, who devoted his life to the promotion of religion, education, and the propagation of the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), as well as serving the honorable people of Iran, especially the noble and martyr-loving people of Qom, with His saints.
I extend my condolences to the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), the esteemed members of the Expert Assembly of Leadership and the Guardian Council, and his honorable family, while praying to the Almighty for this departed soul’s vast mercy and for the respected survivors patience and health.
