According to the Public Relations Office of the university: The eighth knowledge enhancement course for professors of Qom University of Technology, with the presence of their families, was held at the Ferdows and Sef Cultural Complex, organized by the Office of the Supreme Leader's Representative at the university.
During this course, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the President of Qom University of Technology, congratulated the decade of Wilaya and thanked Hojjatoleslam va Al-Muslimin Dr. Qorbani Mobin, the head of the Office of the Supreme Leader's Representative at the university, for organizing this course. He stated: "Undoubtedly, according to Imam Khomeini's (RA) words, the university is a factory for human construction, and this responsibility has rendered the role of the academic community quite critical."
He added: "One of the important duties of universities is to create identity centered around Islamic civilization, Islamic ethics, religious epistemology, and the thoughts of Imam Khomeini. If this identity creation is carried out correctly, brain drain will also decrease, and with national pride, unity, and empathy, many of the country's problems will be solved within the country itself."
Dr. Rezaei Nour, referring to the presence of young staff and professors at Qom University of Technology, said: "This university has the potential to be among the top 10 industrial universities and the top 20 prominent universities in the country by the year 1402. For example, the utilization of the electronic service desk and the empowerment club for startups (Beta) are among the distinctive and special actions of this university compared to others."
He added: "Considering the improvement of processes and facilitation of affairs at the university, the ground has been prepared for professors to engage more actively. Revitalizing the industry-academia working group, as requested by the governor of Qom, should be one of the priority tasks for professors at Qom University of Technology. Undoubtedly, we can bring about a boom in production through effective industry-academia collaboration."
The President of Qom University of Technology, referring to the second phase of the Revolution statement, said: "Islamic Iran, in order to reach the peaks of progress and honor, needs scientists and elites who are passionate about their country, identity, and the destiny of their nation. According to the Supreme Leader's statement, hostility towards foreigners is unacceptable in scientific matters, and while we must learn to achieve knowledge, we should not remain mere students."
The teaching of Dr. Mohammad Mohammadrezaei, a researcher and professor of religious philosophy at the University of Tehran, centered on Islamic epistemology, mountaineering, and conducting friendly work sessions, was among the other sections of the eighth knowledge enhancement course for professors at Qom University of Technology.
