Announcement on the Admission Process for Specialized Doctorate Students (Ph.D.) for the Semi-Centralized Doctorate Examination of 2022

While congratulating those who have been introduced in the first stage of the specialized doctoral exam at Qom University of Technology, we hereby inform you that Qom University of Technology will admit students for the graduate program in Mechanical Engineering - Applied Design for the academic year 1402-1401, based on the conditions and regulations stated in the execution guidelines for the admission of Ph.D. students and the instructions from the Organization for Educational Testing of the country, through specialized evaluation, interviews, and review of academic records, selecting from the accepted candidates introduced by the Organization for Educational Testing.

Initial registration is electronic, and candidates must complete the personal information form along with the documentation for this form (as a compressed file) from Tuesday, 02/‏03/‏1401  to Wednesday, 10/‏03/‏1401  to the email address of the Graduate Studies department at the following addresses:

Candidates must also present the original documents during the interview.

It is evident that candidates whose documents are incomplete at the time of submission will not be eligible for the scientific interview.

Note: Candidates will receive a confirmation email after submitting their documents to the aforementioned email address.

Important: Candidates must continuously check the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering website at https://www.qut.ac.ir/fa/mech/frontpage for any potential changes or refer to the university's channel on the internal messaging app "Bele" at qutnews@ for updates.

1. The interview for candidates will only be held in person.
2. Electronic registration for the interview is mandatory, and all candidates are required to submit the necessary documents in a compressed file format to the Graduate Studies email by the specified dates. Otherwise, they will be barred from attending the interview.
3. The exam field of the candidate must match their graduation field; otherwise, the candidate is not allowed to participate in the interview.
4. Meeting the minimum score requirement of the second stage of the exam (oral interview) is mandatory based on Clause 10 of the Executive Guidelines for the Ph.D. entrance exam of 1401 from the Organization for Educational Testing.
5. The accuracy of the electronic registration information is the responsibility of the candidate. If, at any stage of the admission process, it is identified that the information provided is inconsistent with the actual information, the candidate's admission will be revoked, and actions will be taken in accordance with the regulations.
6. Respectful candidates must pay the registration fee of 1,300,000 IRR through the electronic portal below, as approved by the university's Board of Trustees.
