According to the Public Relations of the university: The Engineering Physics Scientific Association of Qom Industrial University, in collaboration with the Union of Scientific Associations of Physics and partner associations, held a workshop for observing the night sky.
This program was attended by students from various fields of universities across the country, including Khajeh Nasir, Qom, Qom University of Medical Sciences, Qom Industrial University, Mazandaran, Semnan, and others.
The night sky observation workshop was broadcast live via Adobe Connect, featuring a lecture by Dr. Saeed Naei, an instructor at Qom Industrial University. This program aimed to familiarize students with celestial bodies in the night sky, to observe and learn about constellations, and to utilize the night sky.
Familiarization with the characteristics and specifications of various celestial bodies, including stars, planets, nebulae, understanding the solar system, and obtaining a better view of the Earth system, the Sun, the Moon, and celestial coordinates, understanding autumn constellations, and learning navigation in the night sky, along with the observation of some beautiful celestial objects, were among the main topics of this program.
The workshop concluded with sky observations using telescopes and special binoculars on the university campus, as well as presenting a commemorative gift to the participants.
It is noteworthy that attendance certificates were issued to all participants in this program.
