According to the university's public relations office: A specialized workshop on modern espionage techniques, featuring Professor Moghaddam and staff from Qom Industrial University, was held on Tuesday, 14/10/94 for a duration of 4 hours in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall, thanks to the efforts of the university's security department.
In this workshop, Professor Moghaddam emphasized Iran's important and strategic position in terms of geography and politics, adding that today, Islamic Iran is the target of espionage by foreign countries. Men and women, educated and uneducated, may unwittingly become agents used for the espionage of foreign nations. However, by raising public awareness, we can easily prevent such situations from arising.
He shared examples of how spies infiltrate among individuals, particularly professors, students, and university staff, and discussed modern espionage methods.
