An educational workshop on the process of establishing knowledge-based companies was held at the university.

According to the Public Relations Office of the University: An educational workshop on the process of establishing knowledge-based companies was held, organized by the Entrepreneurship and Industry Relations Office, with the presence of professors from Qom University of Technology, Engineer Salari, the head of recruitment and acceptance at the Science and Technology Park of the province, and students from Qom University of Technology on Sunday 93/12/10 in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall.
At the beginning of this workshop, Engineer Bikaei, an expert from the Industry Relations Office, provided explanations about the process of establishing knowledge-based companies, including the method of establishing a company, how to convert it into a knowledge-based company, general and specific criteria for knowledge-based companies, the process of obtaining licenses, and also the available support packages, including various facilities, tax exemptions, customs duties, and insurance.
Furthermore, Engineer Salari, while providing additional explanations regarding the establishment of knowledge-based companies, added: If knowledge-based companies operate as growing units, technology-based, or commercial units situated in science and technology parks, they will enjoy greater support.
Additionally, Dr. Rasti, the director of entrepreneurship and industry relations at the university, while thanking the professors and students for their participation in this workshop, announced: The Entrepreneurship and Industry Relations Office is ready to provide any consulting and brainstorming for those seeking to establish knowledge-based companies.
