According to the Public Relations Office of the University: Dr. Rezaei Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, issued a statement condemning the actions of the United States regarding the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of terrorist organizations.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as a pure tree, is one of the most important achievements of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which has always and everywhere defended the noble nation of Iran and has been a perennial enemy of terrorism. The role of revolutionary and devoted Guards in combating Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Al-Nusra, and other terrorist groups in the Middle East and even other countries is commendable.
Undoubtedly, such actions have caused the wounded leaders of the United States to express their resentment and hatred toward these dedicated forces, who are at the forefront of the fight against terrorism.
I, on behalf of the academic community of Qom University of Technology, strongly condemn the illegal and hostile action of the United States in placing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on the list of "Foreign Terrorist Organizations"; I consider this despicable act a clear violation of international law and declare that with unity, empathy, and adherence to the wise guidelines of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be everlasting), we will fulfill the lofty goals of the Islamic Revolution.
