According to the Public Relations Office of the University, the message from the Board of Trustees of Qom Industrial University following the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah Lebanon, is as follows:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Among them are some who have fulfilled their vow, and among them are some who are still waiting, and they have not changed at all.
Sayyed and a role model of resistance, a divine scholar, the illustrious martyr of Islam, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was a brave man who, with thirty years of struggle, became a divine support for the oppressed people of Palestine and Lebanon, bringing unparalleled dignity in the face of oppression, aggression, and the child killings by the monstrous Zionist regime and its vile accomplices. The martyrdom of this tireless fighter, though a heart-wrenching sorrow to the free-hearted people of the world, will ignite a fierce passion in the soul of the resistance front that will inspire every free human to become a self-sacrificing soldier who will avenge the blood of the innocent children, women, and other martyrs of Palestine and Lebanon. Without a doubt, in accordance with the promise of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution (may his shadow endure), with divine assistance, this great crime will bring an end to the ignoble Zionist regime. The Board of Trustees of Qom Industrial University extends its condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of this unparalleled leader of Islamic resistance to the presence of His Holiness Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) and to the esteemed authority of the Supreme Leader. They condemn this brutal act and state that, just as the Great Leader and architect of the Revolution stated, "If you kill us, our nation will become more awakened," they urge thinkers, free men, and Muslims around the world, who are witnessing the savagery of those sworn enemies of humanity, to express their protests in every possible way and not to allow the fate of humanity to be driven into decline by the oppressive tyrants of the world. "Indeed, We will take revenge on the criminals."
