The rich civilization of Iran is indebted to the efforts of great scholars such as Khawaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Avicenna, Al-Khwarizmi, and others. For this reason, the 24th of February, the day commemorating Khawaja Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, has been designated as Engineer's Day in the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Today, Islamic Iran takes pride in nurturing creative, dynamic, committed, and devout scholars; despite all the threats and sanctions, the renowned name of Iran continues to resonate across the world.
I, while honoring the memory of the 1400 martyr engineers in Islamic Iran, extend my congratulations on Engineer's Day to all engineers of this land and hope that with your hard work and perseverance, we will witness an Iran prouder than ever.
And with the help of God
