According to the Public Relations Office of the Student Welfare Fund, the Head of the Student Welfare Fund announced: In anticipation of the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and to support students and this spiritual and cultural endeavor, the fund will provide eligible students with a special loan of 7 million Rials for pilgrimage to the holy shrines as quickly as possible.
Zolfaqarm Yazdanmehr, Head of the Student Welfare Fund at the Ministry of Science, referring to the millions participating in the Arbaeen ceremonies said: Our people have always considered visiting Imam Hussein (PBUH) a duty, and in recent years, we have witnessed the massive presence and processions of millions during the Arbaeen commemorations. In this respect, the presence of university students is also very enthusiastic, and our students held various programs during these ceremonies.
The Head of the Student Welfare Fund at the Ministry of Science continued: In anticipation of Arbaeen, and in order to support this spiritual and cultural initiative, as well as to assist students who intend to travel to the holy shrines, the fund decided to provide eligible students with loans for the pilgrimage within the allocated budget in the shortest time possible.
He added: The maximum loan amount for each student is 7 million Rials, and importantly, this loan has no fees, and the repayment of these facilities, like other loans, is after graduation.
The Head of the Student Welfare Fund stated: Applicants for these facilities must refer to the Student Welfare Offices of their universities and take action to complete the loan application form and submit a copy of the payment receipt for the visa and insurance.
Yazdanmehr emphasized: Universities can start announcing the list of approved students through the Student Welfare Fund system from today so that necessary arrangements for loan payments can be made.
He concluded by saying: Registration for this loan payment starts today (Saturday, November 15) and students have until Thursday, November 26 to apply for these facilities.
