The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology, in a letter addressed to the presidents of universities and research institutions, sincerely congratulated all professors and faculty members across the country on Teacher's Day and invited them to actively and increasingly participate in innovative ideas and the production of knowledge-based products and new technologies in their professional and social responsibilities within the university sphere, thereby alleviating problems and advancing the country. According to the Public Relations Office of the University, quoting from the General Office of Public Relations of the Ministry of Science, the text of Dr. Gholami's letter is as follows: The anniversary of the martyrdom of the esteemed martyr professor, Morteza Motahhari, a capable thinker and intellectual of our country, has rightly been named Teacher's Day, providing an opportunity to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the academic community that is responsible for education and research in the scholarly circles of our nation. While extending my congratulations on Teacher's Day to you and each esteemed member of the faculty who play an unparalleled role in the enhancement of knowledge and the development of the country, I invite my esteemed colleagues to actively and increasingly engage in presenting innovative ideas and in the production of knowledge-based products and new technologies, fulfilling their professional and social responsibilities and alleviating problems while advancing the country. I hope that the academic community, as they have adeptly played their role in overcoming difficult days, will, at this critical juncture, by relying on divine power and their earnest scholarly efforts, open up new horizons for our dear homeland and be a source of trust and hope.
