The board of directors of Qom University of Technology met with Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri.

According to the Public Relations of the University: The Board of Trustees of Qom University of Technology met and discussed with Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hosseini Bushehri on Tuesday, 20th of Ordibehesht 1394.
In this meeting, Dr. Khoshnevisan, President of Qom University of Technology, briefly outlined the current status of the university, stating: Considering the presence of students from all over the country at this university, a suitable platform has been created for students to utilize the scientific and spiritual environment of the holy city of Qom.
Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri, while expressing his happiness about this meeting, stated: The holy city of Qom has become a scientific and academic center, which is a source of joy, and we should be pleased with the expansion of universities and seminaries in Qom, as Qom is the shrine of the Ahl al-Bayt, who have always promoted knowledge and education.
He expressed: Sometimes it is imagined that in Qom, we should focus on certain specific academic fields such as the humanities, but if we want Qom to be seen as an advanced city, the youth of Qom should, alongside the spirituality of the Ahl al-Bayt's sanctuary, be educated and excel in other fields such as engineering and medicine under the guidance of religious authority.
He added: Fortunately, in recent years, good measures have been taken in Qom. National universities are expanding, and the seminary and the university can jointly deliver dedicated and committed specialists to society through greater unity.
A member of the Assembly of Experts stated: A cleric must be trustworthy and the public should consider him privy to all their confidential matters. The presence of prominent figures such as Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader in seminaries speaks volumes about their effectiveness.
He added: Universities have also trained influential figures for the country, and it is expected that when a student comes to Qom, he/she will appropriately benefit from the spiritual atmosphere of Qom after their studies.
Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri stated: If planning is done correctly, and the university presidents work with genuine concern, ensuring that cultural and religious issues of students are not neglected, even if the student intake in this city is very high, it is an opportune time to cultivate elite individuals in religious and academic matters. In this regard, the seminary announces its readiness to hold joint programs with the universities to create a suitable religious and cultural atmosphere for students.
