According to the University Public Relations: Concurrent with the holy month of Ramadan, a virtual site of the Office of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology was unveiled in the presence of staff at the Shahid Akhoundi Conferences Hall of the university.
This site aims to teach religious concepts and promote Islamic and Iranian culture through three educational courses titled "Worship Training One, Two, and Three". The first course focuses on media literacy for a duration of 12 hours, the second course discusses the wisdom of fasting, featuring a lecture by Ayatollah Javadi Ameli lasting 4 hours, and the third course encompasses the recitation and reading of the Quran for 18 hours.
Additionally, registered members can either participate online or download classes from each course to learn the topics, and at the end, an internet-based self-assessment exam will be conducted for each course. Based on the scores obtained, a certificate of course completion will be issued to the participants.
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Sharifi Doost, the head of the Office of the Supreme Leader at the university, welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the occasion of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan. He expressed gratitude towards Dr. Khoshnevisan, the President of Qom University of Technology, for his cooperation with the office in launching the virtual site of the Supreme Leader’s Office. He also thanked Dr. Ghanbari, the Deputy for Student and Cultural Affairs, and Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Tabatabai, the cultural expert.
The head of the Office of the Supreme Leader at the university added: The head of the Supreme Leader’s Office at universities is Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mohammadiyan, and the heads of the Supreme Leader’s Offices at universities are appointed by him.
Additionally, one of the responsibilities of the office is to oversee the qualitative aspects of cultural and religious activities at the university and to provide appropriate support for organizations, students, and staff within the framework of the office’s support activities, so that, God willing, we can carry out effective activities at Qom University of Technology together.
