According to the public relations office of the university: The Engineering Ethics Conference was held with the presence of Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Mohi al-Din Haeri Shirazi, a professor from the Qom seminary and a member of the Assembly of Experts, organized by the Student and Cultural Affairs Office of Qom University of Technology.
This conference coincided with the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Hujjat al-Islam wa al-Muslimin Haeri Shirazi emphasized the noble virtues of the Prophet and regarded the pursuit of truth as the most important aspect of engineering ethics. He added: The oneness of God is embedded in every branch of knowledge, and it can only be perceived through contemplation and reflection on our surroundings and nature.

He added: For example, can a person who builds a giant airplane make a small fly move? Therefore, humility, submission, and reverence before the Almighty God are other aspects of engineering ethics.
This conference was held after the noon and afternoon prayers in the university prayer hall.
