National Research and Technology Week

National Research and Technology Week is a time that provides an excellent opportunity to focus on various aspects of research and technology in the country, enabling all stakeholders to enhance their planning for a better and more significant future by being informed about trends and current situations. The selection and recognition of outstanding individuals in the field of research and technology, along with creating opportunities for interaction among stakeholders through various means such as exhibitions, technology markets, conferences, seminars, press interviews, and radio and television programs, create an environment in the country that, while elevating the status of research and technology, establishes a solid foundation for the continued strengthening and development of research and technology. This development is crucial for the real progress of the country and generating wealth, comfort, and security for the people in social and cultural dimensions. Since 2000, in order to promote a culture of research, the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology has designated the fourth week of Azar as Research Week, taking into account the designation of December 25th as Research Day by the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution, and has entrusted the responsibility for organizing this week to the Research Department of this ministry.
