According to the university's public relations office: In line with the two-way interaction between university officials and students, the university's board of directors, during their visit to the Mofid male student dormitory, was updated on the opinions, suggestions, and criticisms of the students.
In this meeting, Dr. Rezai Noor, the President of Qom University of Technology, attributed the advancements of the past year to the efforts of university officials, faculty, and staff, as well as the unwavering support of the students.
He stated: As a developing university, Qom University of Technology has brought about the welfare of students, faculty, and staff over the past year through the development and improvement of physical spaces, including the enhancement of access pathways, the construction of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the expansion of the university library, the construction of the administrative areas for educational and research offices, student affairs, cultural, and administrative and financial units, the establishment of the office for the Supreme Leader's representative at the university, the construction of a workshop and laboratory complex covering 2,650 square meters, and the establishment of a high-performance computing center, among others.
He added: The recruitment of nine new faculty members, improvement in the activities of the Center for Continuing Education and Virtual Learning, signing scientific and research memorandums of understanding, increasing faculty presence at national and international conferences, executing twelve innovative projects by faculty at the university's innovation center, launching the first empowerment club for startups, and other advancements are some of the significant improvements in the university's scientific and research domains.
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader's office at the university, regarded the youth period as the best time for acquiring knowledge and experience, adding: To have a better university in terms of scientific and cultural standards, everyone must stand united and follow the same path.
In conclusion, students expressed their gratitude for the round-the-clock efforts of the university officials, especially Dr. Rezai Noor, for implementing significant changes at the university, and they raised their requests regarding educational, research, student, and cultural issues, seeking follow-up on these matters.
