This meeting was attended by Engineer Abdollahi, CEO of Foolad Sazan Jam Company, along with a group of officials from Qom Industrial University and Qom University, aiming to establish effective communication between industry and academia and address the scientific and research needs of the province's industries.
According to the Public Relations of the university, Dr. Rezai Noor, the president of Qom Industrial University, stated in this meeting that Qom Industrial University is a center for nurturing elite talent. He said: "At this university, we strive to achieve significant advancements in enhancing the scientific capabilities of our students, utilizing the high scientific and research capacities of our distinguished faculty and students every day."
During the meeting, the following topics were discussed and agreed upon:
1- Proposal to implement a scholarship program for undergraduate and graduate students.
2- Support for demand-driven theses from Foolad Sazan Jam Company.
3- Research collaborations and submission of proposals by faculty members to address the company's needs.
4- Proposal to establish a PM unit in collaboration with provincial universities.
5- Request for cooperation to provide solutions for improving the company’s development plan.
6- Financial support from the company for personnel to participate in training courses and pursue higher education.
During the meeting, a visit was made to the billet production line and continuous casting of Foolad Sazan Jam Company.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to finalize a memorandum of understanding to enhance communication between the university and the industry.
