The first solar energy application competition in Iran was held by Qom University of Technology
The first solar energy application competition, organized by Dr. Meshkour Al-Sadat and the Faculty of Basic Sciences at Qom University of Technology, took place on Monday, 92/8/6, from 1 PM to 3 PM. In this competition, 25 teams of one to four members competed against each other.
Dr. Anousheh Latifi, head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, stated that this competition is being held for the first time at both the provincial and national levels. She added that because constructing solar panels is very costly, the goal of organizing such a competition is to familiarize and encourage students to develop low-cost tools and devices for utilizing solar energy.
Additionally, the results of this competition were announced based on the jury's decisions as follows:
First place: Mahvash Khalili, Behnaz Seyed Mohammadi, Mahdieh Safikhani, and Zahra Maddadi
Second place: Mehdi Baqeri, Homayoun Khosravi, and Mehdi Ebtehaj
Third place: Fatemeh Ebrahimi, Hamideh Imami, Azadeh Shokri, Saideh Parvareshnia, and Sosan Ghafari
At the end, certificates of appreciation and cash prizes were awarded to the winners.
