According to the Public Relations of the university: Dr. Kheiral-Din, Deputy for Technology at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, said during a visit to Qom University of Technology: Given the scientific and research activities of Qom University of Technology, this university has the potential to establish a university campus and a growth center. He added: Universities must reassess their objectives and responsibilities. They should set new and up-to-date missions while also preventing the migration of elite individuals. The Deputy for Technology at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology stated: We should move towards a direction where all university professors are research-oriented. This way, we can achieve scientific self-sufficiency. Thanks to God, we have made significant progress in this regard in recent years, but a long path lies ahead of us. Furthermore, Dr. Rezaei Nour, President of Qom University of Technology, mentioned: The establishment of the Technology Deputy is a very fortunate event within the Ministry of Science that all of us in academia have positively received and are now stepping more determinedly and with greater encouragement into research and study. He added: Qom University of Technology has successfully implemented innovative projects, including the industry connection project, significantly aiding the employment of students. According to the results of the Graduate Employment Monitoring project, conducted annually by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, Qom University of Technology ranks first in the employment of bachelor’s graduates and second in the employment of master’s graduates. It also holds the thirteenth rank in holding skill enhancement courses for students. The President of Qom University of Technology added: Talented and young professors, along with purposeful and active students, have envisioned a very bright future for this university. He emphasized: Given the presence of 8 industrial towns and 4 industrial areas in Qom Province, the development of Qom University of Technology can significantly contribute to the growth and prosperity of the industry in this province. Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the Representative of the Supreme Leader at Qom University of Technology, expressed his happiness regarding this meeting and said: Qom University of Technology, as a young and developing university, is very active and dynamic, and with the special support of the ministry and provincial officials, it can take significant steps toward the elevated standing of Islamic Iran. He added: Thanks to God and the special favors of Hazrat Masoumeh (S.A.), the university president, staff, professors, student organizations, student Basij, and scientific associations at this university are very united and through this unity, university affairs are carried out swiftly and in the best possible manner. Dr. Rasti, Head of the Industrial Relations Office at the university, provided a report on the initiatives of the university's Innovation Center. He stated: The Innovation Center of Qom University of Technology received its establishment license from the Ministry of Science in 2017, and after its establishment, 12 projects were presented by the university's faculty members, out of which, with the support of university officials, 8 projects reached fruition and 4 projects were registered for patents. He mentioned: Currently, the university's Innovation Center meets the research needs of the province in two main areas: co-working space and startup space. Although, due to the university's closure during COVID-19, the activities of this center were diminished, we are now witnessing notable involvement from faculty members and students at this center.
