The Administrative, Financial, and Resource Management Deputy of the Ministry of Science announced: Approval has been obtained for the funding of 3,686 positions for faculty members in universities and higher education and research institutions.

The Deputy for Administrative, Financial and Resource Management of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology announced the approval for funding 3,686 positions for hiring faculty members in universities and higher education and research institutions.

According to the public relations office of the university citing the Ministry of Science’s public relations department, Dr. Mohammad Taghi Nazarpour stated: With continuous follow-ups and multiple meetings at various levels with experts, ministry managers, the country’s Program and Budget Organization, Dr. Gholami, the Minister of Science, Research and Technology, and Dr. Nobakht, the Vice President and Head of the Program and Budget Organization, approval was secured for funding 3,686 positions for hiring faculty members without an active employee number in universities and higher education and research institutions across the country.
It is noteworthy that the issue of faculty members lacking an employment number, who were receiving their salaries from the treasury, has been a longstanding problem that higher education centers in the country have been grappling with for many years. The resolution of this issue not only brings satisfaction to stakeholders in universities but also facilitates greater organizational and financial discipline within the administrative sectors of the universities.
