The National Medical Equipment Technology Competition was held in collaboration with Qom University of Technology.

The National Medical Equipment Technology Competition was held to support the ideas of the younger generation and to develop knowledge-based businesses in the field of medical equipment with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology of the President's Office and in collaboration with the Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Association of Qom University of Medical Sciences and the Scientific Entrepreneurship Association of Qom University of Technology.
 According to the Public Relations of the university: The National Medical Equipment Technology Competition aimed to support the ideas of the younger generation and develop knowledge-based businesses in the field of medical equipment focusing on kits and equipment needed for research related to stem cells and regenerative medicine, health-related applications, devices required in dentistry, materials and devices needed for the operating room and intensive care unit, and diagnostic kits and devices used in laboratories.
This competition is part of the Koron-Up events which was held with the support of the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology of the President's Office and in collaboration with the Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Association of Qom University of Medical Sciences and the Scientific Entrepreneurship Association of Qom University of Technology.
In this competition, teams presented their ideas individually or in groups in the form of a proposal submitted to the Public Relations of the Entrepreneurship Association, and then defended their projects and answered the judges' questions online via Adobe Connect.
 During the defense session, Dr. Shohreh Mashayekhan, professor of Biomedical Engineering at Sharif University, Dr. Masoumeh Akbari, PhD in Surgical Nursing from Turkey, and Dr. Hadi Mirzajani, representative of the Hamava Accelerator, participated as judges, asking their questions to the participants. The participants' projects were evaluated and judged by the judges after the defense session, and the selected projects were announced.
First place: Mr. Aidin Shakeri for his project on tube detaching devices with an independent light source.
Second place: Mr. Ahmad Danesh for his project on portable monitoring devices of vital signs.
Third place: Ms. Niloufar Barati for her surgical bed project.
Ultimately, the selected projects will be introduced to the accelerator for commercialization, and the acceleration process for the teams will take place after mid-October.
 It is worth mentioning that the executive secretary of this event was Mr. Mohammad Hossein Asgharnejad, the scientific and research committee comprised of Ms. Engashteh and Ms. Akbari, and the public relations committee included Ms. Kalehr, Ms. Mahboubi, and Mr. Khalili.
