The new head of the University Staff Basij of Qom Industrial University has been introduced.
The ceremony honoring and introducing the new head of the Basij of the staff at Qom University of Technology was held with the presence of the head of the Staff Basij Organization of Qom Province. According to the university's public relations report, in this ceremony, which took place earlier today in the university's presidential conference hall, Dr. Rezaei Nour, the president of Qom University of Technology, while congratulating the birth of Imam Hasan Mojtaba, the generous soul of the Ahl al-Bayt, and welcoming the guests, elaborated on the role of the Basij staff in fostering solidarity and dynamism within the university. He stated that the Basij staff can serve as a suitable model for promoting the values of the revolution. The president of Qom University of Technology commended the efforts of the former head of the university's Basij staff, noting that in the past, certain specific political movements sought to marginalize the university, but with necessary measures, their actions were neutralized, allowing the university to regain its calm atmosphere. He added that due to the unity and camaraderie established, Qom University of Technology has achieved significant successes. Dr. Rezaei Nour mentioned the university's attainment of first place in the country for the employment of graduates at the Bachelor's level and its ranking between 11th and 15th in the World Science Islam's citation index, as well as the acquisition of permission to recruit international students. He stated that given the centrality of the sacred city of Qom as a hub of Shia Islam and the location of Qom University of Technology within it, this university could serve as a suitable center for training devout engineers in the Islamic world. Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the university, continued the session by welcoming the attendees and said: "The Basij, through ethical conduct and maximum recruitment, has been successful in every arena it has entered." He emphasized the importance of maximum recruitment and avoiding divisions and disputes, stating: "According to the recommendations of the Supreme Leader, we must strive to draw hearts together as much as possible. Realizing this mission creates additional momentum for the construction of all matters." Colonel Hassanpour, the head of the Staff Basij Organization of Qom Province, during the introduction ceremony of the new head of the Basij staff at Qom University of Technology, wished for the acceptance of the attendees' worship and said that the Basij belongs to all social classes. There are diverse opinions in society, and sadly, some misguided preferences have led to the separation of these forces and the creation of division. He emphasized that the art of the Basij is maximum recruitment and stated that marginal issues must be sidelined. With unity, all internal problems of the country can be resolved. He added that training employees in line with the values of the revolution is among the goals of the Staff Basij, and the best place to initiate this purpose is the university. The Basij staff can be a suitable educational model in the service environment and promote Islamic ethical standards. In continuation, Hojjatoleslam Tavakoli, the new head of staff, expressed hope regarding the weight of this responsibility, wishing to meet the expectations set forth within the framework of assigned duties. He stated that in pursuit of the goals and promotion of the Basij culture among the staff, he will not act passively and will seek assistance from all value-driven forces and the necessary tools to invigorate the university. This ceremony concluded after the reading of the appointment decree for Hojjatoleslam Tavakoli as the head of the Basij staff at Qom University of Technology.
