According to the Public Relations Office of the university: A meeting to introduce the new student affairs officer of Qom Industrial University was held with the presence of the university president, some university officials, Colonel Rafat Nejad, the commander of the Basij district in Qom province, and Basij students of this university.
In this meeting, Dr. Rezaei Noor, the president of Qom Industrial University, regarded the student Basij of this university as an honor for both the university and Qom province, and added: "This pure tree of Basij must continue its activities with full strength.” Mr. Akbari, the former head of the student Basij, is a prime example of a Basij student. During this time, he has made very good and effective contributions. One of the statements of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow last) regarding Basij is that Basij should operate above political factions, and Mr. Akbari has fully adhered to this principle.
He emphasized: "In this critical period, one of the important responsibilities of Basij is scientific and economic jihad. Currently, as the country faces threats from enemies, Basij can make the path difficult and uneven for them with its jihadist activities."
Furthermore, Hojjatoleslam wa al-Muslimeen Dr. Ghorbani Mobin, the head of the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative at Qom Industrial University, referred to the glorious history of the Islamic Revolution and asserted that the presence of Basij members in various arenas of the revolution is very significant and vital, adding: "With the presence of Basij members on the front lines of the war, we were able to emerge victorious and proud from this unequal battle. Basij members are always revivers of spirituality, bringing blessing and tranquility with them. For instance, the victories of General Soleimani and General Hemmati in regional issues are blessings of Basij and the Basij spirit.”
Colonel Rafat also said: "God willing, in the struggle against the superpowers of the East and the West, we will prevail as always. The work of Basij is divine. Despite all the financial support that was provided by the enemies of Islam, ISIS was ultimately eradicated from the scene by the Basij forces.”
In conclusion, Mr. Akbari, the former head of the student Basij, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration of the university officials, stating: "During this period, every activity that took place was my duty. Whatever we do in the realm of Basij cannot compensate for even a drop of the blood of the martyrs.”
