The orientation ceremony for new students in the Mechanical Engineering program was held with the presence of faculty and students in the Shahid Akhundi Conference Hall at Qom University of Technology, organized by the Scientific Association of Mechanical Engineering.
In this ceremony, Dr. Sahebi, the head of the Mechanical Engineering department, congratulated and welcomed the new students, introducing them to the university and the Mechanical Engineering program.
He described Qom University of Technology as a developing university and added: "At Qom University of Technology, the infrastructure for student research has been provided. A successful student is one who, in addition to completing their coursework, has also acquired various skills. This student can become an entrepreneurial engineer rather than just a job seeker."
The head of the Mechanical Engineering department stated: "One of the very good potentials of this university is its young faculty members who can help students prepare for entering the job market by utilizing their capacities."
Furthermore, the secretary of the Scientific Association of Mechanical Engineering invited the new students to join this association and said: "The Scientific Association of Mechanical Engineering has officially started its activities since 2011 and has been recognized as the top scientific association at the university for the past three years."
