The orientation ceremony for newly admitted students was held.

According to the university's public relations report: At the beginning of the new academic year, Qom University of Technology welcomed 469 new undergraduate and graduate students. To this end, an orientation ceremony for these students was held with the presence of university officials, organized by the cultural management.

Dr. Rezai Noor, while welcoming the new students, congratulated them on their success in the nationwide entrance exam of 1397. He added: A distinctive feature of this university is the presence of young faculty members who have graduated from prestigious universities. Additionally, the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff have enhanced growth and productivity at this university.
Dr. Rezai Noor stated: The creative and talented students of Qom University of Technology have brought significant achievements to this university. The high acceptance rate of undergraduate students at Qom University of Technology for master's programs, securing second place in underwater competitions, seventh place in nanotechnology competitions, and earning top invention awards at Geneva competitions are among the activities of students at this university.
He added: The desire for change, transformation, and effort is the foundation of the work of the officials at Qom University of Technology. In this regard, with the relentless efforts of the officials, this summer, the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Mashkooteh Al-Sadat Library, and the Martyr Shahriari Sports Hall were established. Initial actions for the construction of an artificial turf field at the university have also been undertaken.
The student dormitories have been renovated and equipped to provide an appropriate reception for new students.
He stated: The university's main campus is located at kilometer 9 on the old Qom-Tehran road, and through negotiations made, we will construct the main university site on this land in the coming years.
Dr. Rezai Noor said: The university officials will make every effort to provide better educational, welfare, and professional services, and in this regard, the cooperation and support of you dear ones is very important and effective. In this context, I ask all of you to critique us, of course, with fair and constructive criticism.
He added: The cheerful spirit and positive energy of the students will significantly enhance the motivation of the university officials to provide optimal services in educational, welfare, professional, and other areas.
The President of Qom University of Technology considered the undergraduate study period to be one of the most important phases in the lives of young people and added: If you want to be a successful and efficient engineer, learning skills such as time management, report writing, etc., is very important.
In continuation, Hojjatoleslam Sharifi Doost, the representative of the Supreme Leader's Office at the university, while expressing condolences for the period of mourning for the Master of Martyrs and congratulating the new students on entering a new realm of learning, stated that the holy city of Qom is the "abode of the people of God" and added: You dear ones are invited by the honorable lady of the household of the Prophet (peace be upon him) to this sacred city.
He said: In this period, you dear ones can make the most of the spiritual and religious atmosphere of the holy city of Qom. This is because, according to verses and traditions, the honorable lady of the household of the Prophet reflects the essence of Lady Fatimah (peace be upon her).
The head of the Supreme Leader's Office at the university discussed the Hamam Plan (Intellectual Discussion Circles of Master Morteza Motahari's Ideas) and said: This plan, conducted by the office at the university, has thankfully received a warm welcome from many students so far. In this plan, students become acquainted with the pure thoughts of Master Motahari and apply the guidance of this esteemed master to bring goodness and blessings into their lives.
During this ceremony, Dr. Agha Mohammadi, the Vice President for Academic and Research Affairs of the university, while discussing the introduction of students to educational and research affairs at the university, said: You dear ones must have personal, spiritual growth alongside scientific growth.
Additionally, Dr. Karimi, the Vice President for Student and Cultural Affairs, after explaining issues related to students in cultural, dormitory, and nutrition matters, pointed to the significant role of students in the growth and flourishing of society.

The introduction of the security department, student organizations including the Islamic Association, the Islamic Society, the Student Basij, the Nikaan Charity Institute, and scientific societies were other parts of this program.
