The orientation ceremony for new students at the Faculty of Basic Sciences was held.

According to the Public Relations Office of the university: The introduction ceremony for new students of the Faculty of Basic Sciences was held with the presence of Dr. Bahram Khoshnevisan, the university president, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Vakili, the deputy of the office of the Supreme Leader's representative in the university, Dr. Fadaei, the educational and research deputy, Dr. Khosravi, the head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Engineer Razaei Pouya, the manager of the Security Office, faculty members of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, and 70 new students enrolled in the fields of Energy Engineering and Engineering Physics at the Shahid Akhoundi Conference Hall of the university.
At the beginning of this ceremony, Dr. Khoshnevisan, while commemorating the mourning days for Seyyed and the Master of Martyrs and offering condolences for the martyrdom of Imam Sajjad (AS), provided a brief historical overview of the university. He added: "Qom University of Technology, as a newly established university, has made significant academic progress and development. The acceptance rates for students at this university in graduate programs and the scientific and research articles published by its faculty are indicative of this."
Then, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Vakili, the deputy of the Office of the Supreme Leader's representative in the university, shared information about the activities and responsibilities of the office to familiarize the students with it more thoroughly.
Additionally, Engineer Razaei Pouya, the manager of the Security Office, introduced this office and invited students to share their suggestions, criticisms, and reports with this office to ensure the security and well-being of the academic community at Qom University of Technology.
Following that, Dr. Khosravi, the head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, introduced the faculty and its academic staff.
Engineer Nasiri, the university advisor, explained the counseling center for new students and discussed the procedure and methods for conducting the health monitoring program specifically designed for newly enrolled students.
At the end of the ceremony, a commemorative gift was presented to the new students.
