The closing ceremony of the eighteenth exhibition of technological and research achievements of the province was held at Qom University of Technology.

According to the Public Relations Office of the university: The eighteenth exhibition of technological and research achievements of Qom province was held at Qom University of Technology on Sunday, 11/9/96, with the presence of the governor and senior officials of the province, featuring 21 booths related to educational, research, and technological centers.
Among the active centers and organizations at this exhibition were Qom University of Technology, the Farabi Campus of Tehran University, Qom University of Medical Sciences, the Applied Science and Technology University and the Entrepreneurship Clinic of Qom University of Medical Sciences, the Jihad University, the Science and Technology Park, the Elite Foundation, Shahab Danesh, the University of Art and Culture, Qom University, the General Directorate of Education and Training, the Jihad of Agriculture, Welfare Organization, the Municipality, and the National Bank.
The closing ceremony was held with the presence of provincial managers, Engineer Sifi, the head of the Azarakhsh holding (the top entrepreneur of the Islamic world), staff, and students in the Shahid Akhundi conference hall at Qom University of Technology.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Fadai, the deputy for educational and research affairs of the university, presented a report on the status of research and the position of research in the country.
In continuation, Engineer Sifi expressed his satisfaction with being among the active professors and students of Qom University of Technology, stating: "Sustainable development requires the integration and close connection between knowledge and industry." He added: "If we want to compete with the industries and products of the world, we must take a scientific approach to the production sector and use university experts and specialists in the industries."
He also emphasized: "On the other hand, examining the problems and challenges of the industry and consequently the economy of the country can only be realized with a meticulous, scientific, and operational approach, and the genesis and position of this perspective is rooted in the universities of the country."
Engineer Sifi stated that the Azarakhsh Furnace Brick Complex is the largest producer of various types of refractory facade bricks in the Middle East, noting: "There is no similar product to Azarakhsh in Iran, and the products of this company are exported to many countries around the world, including the UK, Italy, Germany, and the USA."
At the end of the closing ceremony of the eighteenth exhibition of technological and research achievements of the province, the exhibitors were honored and thanked. Additionally, Dr. Jiriyani, Dr. Talebi, Dr. Khoshuyi, and Khademzadeh were recognized as the top researchers of the Faculty of Engineering, while Dr. Sharifi, Dr. Ziyani, Dr. Rasouli, and Dr. Heydari were acknowledged as the top researchers of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Dr. Loyaee, Dr. Mohammad Karimi, and Dr. Al-Imran Nejad were recognized as the top researchers of the Faculty of Basic Sciences.




In the student section, Narges Saraj, Hossein Shojaian, Rouhollah Sari, Roghayeh Aghamohammadi, Zahra Rashidi, Majid Golchi, and Mohammad Mokhtari were honored and thanked as the top researchers.


In the section for book donors, Zeynab Ghaeyni, Javad Jafar Nia, Milad Jalili Nia, and Rouhollah Sari were honored and thanked.
In the section for industry helpers, Abdolghafar Moqaddam, Ehsan Talayi, Abbas Kashani, Abolfazl Moussavi, Mohammad Reza Maghiseh, Hassan Karami Pour, Ali Abdadi Rad, Mehdi Noori Derakhsan, Hamid Reza Sameni, Hamid Asghar, Maryam Mansouri, Hanieh San'at, Narges Bakhtiari, Shahrazad Mahdizadeh, Zahra Hajiyan, Fatemeh Qasemi Zadeh, and Mostafa Ghodoosi were recognized and honored.
