While congratulating the arrival of the New Year, I wish you a year filled with goodness and blessings. The main activities of the Islamic Society of Qom University of Technology in the year 99 are presented below:
1) Increased and planned activities of virtual bases in line with the non-attendance of universities: Accordingly, efforts were made to prioritize the foundations in the areas of the Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, disseminate the wishes of the Supreme Leader, quotations and wills of the martyrs, statements of scholars, excerpts from various books, and discussions on Mahdism and the philosophy of the Hosseini uprising through content production and dissemination in the virtual space.
2) Virtual Competition for the Savior of Horizons: This competition was held on the occasion of the half of Sha'ban and the great century New Year, aimed at increasing awareness regarding the Master of Time (may Allah hasten his appearance) and promoting Mahdist concepts over four weeks and with the topics: "Awaiting and Lifestyle of the Awaiting", "Recognition", "Prayer", "The Blessed Government of Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his appearance)" on the Press Line website and with the participation of 83 students from Qom University of Technology.
3) Participation in the meeting of students with the Supreme Leader during the holy month of Ramadan.
4) Conducting a workshop on magazine writing: This course was held in twelve sessions with the esteemed brother Engineer Hashmati focusing on the principles and foundations of report writing, article writing, news writing, etc.
5) Instagram Live: This program was organized on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir with the topic of examining Mahdism in the Ghadir sermon, inviting Professor Baghai, one of the professors from the Qom Specialized Center for Mahdism, on the Instagram page of the society. Additionally, at the end of the program, a virtual visitation ceremony for the revered grave of the martyr Soleimani, the dear commander of hearts, was held.
6) Reading Competition for the Open Blood: This competition was aimed at elucidating the Hosseini teachings and was based on the book "Open Blood" by the martyr Seyyed Morteza Avini, attended by about 50 students from Qom University of Technology.
7) Reading Competitions on the Power and Glory of Women: This program was held on the occasion of the passing of Hazrat Masoumeh (peace be upon her) using the book "The Power and Glory of Women" in the words of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei in the virtual space with the participation of students from across the country.
8) The tenth round of elections for the Central Council and Supervisory Board was held: With the grace of God, the tenth round of council elections was conducted virtually, and in the first session of the Central Council, Mr. Mohammad Hossein Radan was elected as the new secretary of this organization.
9) Various interviews and statements were made throughout the year by the society, including an interview with Mr. Vali, the current secretary of the organization, with the Fars News Agency aimed at clarifying and explaining the reading plan of the martyr Qassem Soleimani, an interview with Ms. Farjiyan, the deputy of the women’s unit, with the Fars News Agency in Qom province regarding the characteristics of a revolutionary student, and a statement from the organization on the anniversary of the martyrdom of martyr Fakhrizadeh.
10) Preparation and publication of several issues of the magazines "Discourse of Truth" and "Opportunity", as well as selecting "Discourse of Truth" as the national chosen magazine for two consecutive years.
11) Conducting a charitable aid campaign in collaboration with the Student Basij and Islamic Student Association: This campaign was organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan to assist needy families. In this project, 40 gift cards worth 250,000 Tomans, totaling 10 million Tomans, were presented to families affected by the deadly coronavirus disease.
12) Extensive cooperation with the Union of Islamic Students and holding joint programs, including:
a) Study Plan on Martyr Qassem Soleimani One: This initiative was organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and focused on four books: "Preparing for God’s Invitation", "How Our Religious Instructions Educate Us", "Piety, Wisdom, Turkey, and Sincerity", and "The Book of City of God" by Professor Panahian, conducted virtually through the Taaghche reading software with the aim of deepening Islamic foundations nationwide.
b) Student Marriage Plan Tahora focusing on four topics: "Marriage During Student Life", "Criteria for Choosing an Ideal Spouse", "Discussing the Matter with the Desired Individual and Family", "Proposal and Addressing Relevant Issues" aimed at increasing awareness before marriage and promoting easy marriage, featuring the invitation of Hojjat al-Islam Dehghan and Azizi, conducted in the virtual space.
c) Study Plan on Martyr Qassem Soleimani Two: This project centered on the lives and memories of martyrs and involved studying four books: "Shahrokh Har of the Revolution", "Good God of Ibrahim", "Monday's Arrangement", and "Visal" using Taaghche reading software and was nationwide.
d) Study Course of the Growth School: This course focused on studying the works of the Supreme Leader in collaboration with the Publication Office of Ayatollah Khamenei and the Foundation for the Explanation of Imam Khomeini's and the Leader's Thoughts in universities nationwide.
