According to the Public Relations of Qom University of Technology: During a meeting attended by Colonel Bolhossaini, Dr. Akhundi, the acting president of Qom University of Technology, Hojjatoleslam Va Moslemein Akhoundzadeh, the provincial deputy of the Office of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be extended) at Qom University of Technology, and a group of managers and staff, Mr. Badaghi was appointed as the commander of the Basij of the University of Technology in Qom.
At the beginning of this meeting, Dr. Akhundi referred to the Basij as a noble tree and added: Today, the significance and unparalleled activities of the Basij are not hidden from anyone throughout this land. The victory and prosperity of our revolution after the blood of the martyrs are due to the decisive and continuous presence of the Basij. Therefore, Qom University of Technology also intends to utilize the capacities of the Basij to align this university with the path of allegiance to the Supreme Leader.
Dr. Akhundi considered the youth of Iran as the primary asset of this land and added: Just as the youth of recent decades have shown their love and devotion to the founder of the revolution, their faith, and the Quran through heroism and sacrifices in the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the eight-year Sacred Defense, today's youth are, as always, supporters of the Imam and the ideals of the revolution.
Hojjatoleslam Va Moslemein Akhoundzadeh, while appreciating and thanking Dr. Akhundi for his Basij-like thinking and insight, considered the activation of the Basij in the university a source of great blessings. He added: The humble army of God truly carries a significant connotation that Imam Khomeini (RA) conferred upon the Basijis. May we become true Basijis for the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Furthermore, Colonel Bolhossaini, the commander of the Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) Corps, emphasized: The role of the Basij is clear and evident to all. Considering the importance of the Basij, being a Basiji is regarded as a badge of honor for us Iranians. It is true that the architect of the revolution, Imam Khomeini (RA), planned and strategically guided the revolution so well that today the enemy is fearful and anxious about our revolution, yet the enemy has not been able to achieve anything through threats and sanctions. Today, the enemy's war with us is a soft war. Our universities, by training Basiji youths, can prevail in this battle.
Colonel Bolhossaini added: Today, the Basij seeks dynamic and creative forces who can achieve the goals of the sacred Islamic Republic of Iran in the best possible way, and the Army is responsible for providing the groundwork for the Basij's objectives. Given the presence of creative, dynamic, and elite forces in universities, you as university members carry a significant responsibility.
