The Ambassador One will soon take flight in the sky of Qom University of Technology.
Hamid Reza Babakhani, a third-semester mechanical engineering student at Qom University of Technology, successfully constructed an unmanned aerial vehicle under the supervision and guidance of the mechanical engineering faculty over five months of continuous work.
This aircraft has the capability to be upgraded for various missions and is applicable in filming and photographing different spaces, spraying pesticides, traffic control, and monitoring air pollution.
This aircraft, weighing 6 kilograms and measuring 2 meters in length, is built from ultra-light materials like balsa wood. Its wings have airfoil characteristics that operate in a highly effective manner. This symmetry eliminates the force of lift or the same force known as (برا), and due to the lack of pressure difference between the two wing surfaces, it demonstrates acrobatic maneuvers more effectively. The range of this aircraft depends on the related remote control.
It is worth mentioning that the name of this model is Ambassador One, as other models of Ambassador with more specialized capabilities are under construction at Qom University of Technology.
